Netgear FA310TX Problems
I know where you're coming from, but I have 5 Netgear NICs and I have no intention of replacing them - they are good NICs - never had any problems....I'm sure Netgear will release some drivers for them for WS2003 - I have faith in them! ;-) Lee Buy 3Com NIC's... They are always supported as far as I know!

Did you completely remove (add/remove programs) the Linksys driver and its software and reboot before installing the Netgear? If not, deinstall both cards' drivers and software, reboot, and install the Netgear driver and software. Then, and only then, insert the Netgear card the first time.

USB Wireless Adapters with Vista x64 drivers?
The Netgear WG111 V2 (Version 2) is now supported on Mac (non-intel) with a version 1.0 driver. This is a WiFi B/G USB Network Adapter. They didn't used to be supported on Mac OS, and Netgear still doesn't put it on the box for some reason. I found a New in box shrinkwrapped on on ebay for about 18 dollars shipped.

Win98ME doesn't reliably do two things with my Netgear system. First, it automatically gives the FA310TX card the wrong driver. I fixed that. But then, it uses a class B ip for it If this happens with the Netgear drivers, I would be more likely to suspect a network card problem than a Windows Me problem.
